Sukhpreet, Jitin and Deep Munim into last four

Chandigarh, Nov 6 (UNI) CLTA trarinees Sukhpreet Singh Jhoje and Jitin Kumar Chetry stormed into semifinals in boys under-16 singles of CLTA-AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament at the Sector 10 Tennis Stadium here on Wednesday.
Sukhpreet Singh Jhoje upset fourth seed Ajay Singh in straight sets 7-6(1), 6-2. In the first set Sukhpreet got better momentum in the tie break and won the set 7-6(1). In the second set Sukhpreet came up strongly and played with high energetic game, Sukhpreet maintained his rhythm and played attacking game to close the set and match 6-2 easily. Another CLTA player Jitin Kumar Chetry upset second seed Tushar Mittal in straight sets 6-3, 6-3.
Deep Munim eanred semi-finals spots in the boys under-18 as well as under-16 singles. In the boys under-18 quarter-final Deep Munim upt set third seed Nitin Jaipal Singh 7-6(3), 7-5, Seeded top in the boys under-16 singles, Deep Munim rallied to down Yashvardhan Singh 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.
