Sukhbir running away from Jalalabad: Capt Amarinder

Jalalabad (Fazilka), Jun 19 (UNI) Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president Capt Amarinder Singh today said Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal was trying to run away from Jalalabad and exploring the options of fighting from Maur Mandi in Bathinda, as he had completely lost touch with the people over here. “But no matter how much he tries to run away, we will chase and defeat him wherever he goes,” he said.
Talking to reporters after interacting with the party workers during his first interaction under the ‘Halqe vich Captain’ programme, Capt Amarinder said he was told by the people here that Sukhbir hardly visited them.
“So much so in one of the villages in his constituency 37 farmers committed suicide and he did not care to visit there”, he said, adding, these were indications that he had given up on Jalalabad.
