Sukhbir Badal used Dera for political gains: Congress

Chandigarh, Jul 16 (UNI) The Punjab Youth Congress on Thursday alleged that the latest claims by Dera followers have proved once again that it was the Badals, who hatched a conspiracy to desecrate the holy Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji for their political gains.
In a statement here, PYC President Brinder Singh Dhillon said the latest revelations would prove to be the last straw for the Badals, who have been fully exposed in front of the Sikh community. Time was not far away, when the father-son duo would be jailed for their misdeeds, he added.
The fact that they did such heinous, inhuman and shameless acts for petty political gains, speaks of their respect for the Guru and Sikh Sangat, whose feelings and sentiments they have hurt, Mr Dhillon pointed out.
He said people of Punjab want justice and would like these culprits to be punished.
