Sudhir Sawant to join AAP party

Aurangabad, Mah, Jan 10 (UNI) Former Congress MP Sudhir Sawant on Wednesday alleged that the Congress-led UPA and BJP-led NDA are two sides of the same coin, who are implementing rightist agenda in the country.

He was here in the city to welcome Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who will arrive tomorrow evening from Delhi and will proceed to pay tributes to Ma Jijamata at Shindkhedraja in Buldhana district on her birth anniversary on January 12.

Talking to media persons, Brig Sawant who already resigned from Congress said the economic policy of UPA and NDA governments are same and both are concentrating toward capitalist in the country.

Both of the governments are anti-farmers, anti-labours and anti-downtrodden, who were facing lot of inconvenience to survive their life. Both are dividing the people of this country in the name of religion. Due to contract labour system in the country, people are not getting adequate return against their work, he added.

Making allegation against the Narendra Modi government, Brig Sawant said there has been a threat to the national security since the private player has got entry in it.

Attacking the NDA government, he said the Ambani and company has benefitted around Rs 21,000 crore in ‘Rafale aircraft’ deal and BJP was responsible to this, he further alleged.
Brig Sawant is set to join Aam Adami Party (AAP) along with his supporters in presence of Mr Kejriwal at a public rally.

"Seeing the work done by Kejriwal, I was impressed and decided to join AAP party," he said.
