Sudha Singh tested negative for zica: hospital

Bengaluru, Aug 23 (UNI) Indian athlete Sudha Singh, who took part in steeplechase event along with the Indian team in Rio Olympics but returned sick and admitted to a city hospital, has been ruled negative of zica virus, doctors in a hospital here today said.
The doctor attending to the athlete who arrived in the city said today that the 29-year-old athlete has been tested negative for Malaria, Dengue and Zika virus. But she tested positive for H1N1 virus.
Dr Anand Padmanabha of Fortis Hospital in Nagarbhavi said in a statement that Sudha was just back from Rio and brought to the hospital and various tests were done after she was suffering from cough, body pain, fever and other constitutional symptoms.
