New Delhi, Nov 12 (UNI) Condoling the demise of Union Minister Ananth Kumar, BJP veteran Lal Krishna Advani on Monday said such an early age demise was even a bigger and irreparable loss to all in the country.
Mr Advani, Chairman, Committee on Ethics, Lok Sabha said, 'I extremely shocked and saddened by the untimely demise of Union Minister Shri Ananth Kumar. Such an early age demise is even a bigger & irreparable loss to all of us and the country.'
Ananth Kumar was a very popular, dynamic leader of the poor and down trodden, Mr Advani said in a statement.
'He was a remarkable leader, who entered public life at a young age and had tremendous will power and had carved a special niche for himself in politics.
'He was a distinguished and outstanding Parliamentarian and had a forceful presence in the House. He played a significant role in the party,' he said.
Offering his condolences to the bereaved family, he said, 'May God give strength to them to bear this huge loss. May the departed soul rest in peace.'
