States » West » BYEPosted at: May 23 2019 5:45PM Subhash Shirodkar wins Shiroda Assembly seatPanaji, May 23 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former MLA Subhash Shirodkar on Thursday won Shiroda Assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Deepak Dhavalikar by a margin of 76 votes. BJP has snatched the seat from Congress. The seat was represented by Mr Shirodkar himself who was elected MLA in 2017 on Congress ticket but he resinged from the party and as an MLA in 2018 and subsequently joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
