Students from Arunachal embark on 10-day National Integration Tour

Itanagar, Nov 3 (UNI) The Gajraj Corps of Indian Army on Sunday launched an inspiring National Integration Tour (NIT) under 'Operation Sadbhavana', sending off 15 enthusiastic students and a teacher from Mahabodhi School, Tawang, on a 10-day journey of discovery through Delhi, Agra, and Bharatpur.
A Defence spokesperson said this initiative is set to broaden young minds from Arunachal Pradesh, giving them an exciting chance to experience the spirit of a growing and vibrant Viksit Bharat.
The students will explore some of India’s most iconic sites, including the breathtaking Taj Mahal, the historic Qutub Minar, the spiritual centre of Vrindavan, and the fascinating Nehru Planetarium, to name a few.

Odisha student succumbs to burns after self-immolation over sexual harassment

Bhubaneshwar, July 15 (UNI) After battling for life for almost 55 hours, an undergraduate female student, who set herself ablaze after her complaint of prolonged sexual harassment by a teacher was not addressed in a government-run autonomous college in Odisha’s Balasore district, succumbed to burn injuries late on Monday night.
