Gov to release JIPMER resultsPuducherry, June 14 (UNI) Pondicherry State Parents and Students Welfare Association has urged the intervention of the Lt.Governor to release the result of the entrance examination conducted by JIPMER here for admission to first year MBBS course. In a letter to the Lt.Governor Kiran Bedi, Association President Balasubramanian said the examination was held on June 5 and it was announced that the result would be published on June 13. However, the publication of the result was postponed to June 17 as per information on the JIPMER notice board. He said JIPMER used to publish the results before the date announced and this time the delay has caused certain fear in the minds of the people who were waiting eagerly for the result. He said of the 200 MBBS seats at JIPMER, 54 are reserved for Puducherry and the Centac counselling is expected to start on June 24 or 25.
