Strongly condemn barbaric killing of BSF jawan, Govt should give befitting response: Cong

New Delhi, Sep 20 (UNI) Strongly condemning the killing of a BSF soldier by Pakistani rangers on the international border, the Congress on Thursday demanded the Government to give a befitting response to the neighbouring country.
Talking to reporters here, AICC Spokesperson Manish Tewari said, 'We strongly condemn the inhuman way in which a BSF soldier was killed. If the Government has the capability, it should give a befitting response to Pakistan for the killings. Such torture of a soldier and violation of all norms and standard operating procedure, even when it comes to adversarial armies, is unacceptable,
'The NDA Government is in the dock. The country wants a response to these barbaric killings,' Mr Tewari added.
