Strong winds forecast over Arabian Sea, west coasts; fishermen advised to stay away

Pune, Sept 23 (UNI) During next 24 hours, strong winds of speed 40-55 kmph very likely over southeast, southwest and eastcentral Arabian Sea as well as the coasts of Maharashtra, south Gujarat, and Kerala.
Similarly, squally weather predicted over Gulf of Mannar and Lakshadweep area. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these sea areas.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall with extremely heavy rainfall were very likely at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, north Konkan, east and west Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Assam, Meghalaya, Gujarat region, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Saurashtra and Kutch, madhya Maharashtra, and south Kerala.
