Manila,Sep 29 (UNI) A strong earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale has struck off the
Celebes Sea, in south-eastern Philippines on Sunday, the United States Geological Survey (USGS)
said.
According to them,the quake struck at around 0602 hrs local time.
The tremors were felt in General Santos City as well as Digos City, Davao Del Sur, reported the Gulf News.
The epicentre of the quake was measured at a Latitude of 5.75 degrees North and Longitude of 126.57 degrees East.
It had a depth of 10 kilometres.
There were no immediate reports of loss of life or damage.
