Mumbai, May 26 (UNI) The 30-share BSE index and Nifty index moved further in the early hours trading today following June derivatives series took off on a strong footing on encouring earnings and sustained foreign capital inflows. The 30-share BSE index opened higher at 30,765.77 points, moved up to 30,948.02 points as against previous close of 30,750.03 points gaining 186.71 points, similarly, Nifty opened slightly down at 9507.75 points, regained to move up to 9568.65 points as compared to previous close of 9509.75 points, increased by 58.55 points in the early hours trading. All sectoral indices of BSE led by metal, FMCG and auto were in the positive zone, rising up to 1.84 per cent. Brokers said investors were busy creating new positions following the beginning of the June futures and options (F&O) series that lifted the key indices - Sensex and Nifty - to a new highs. Moreover, data showing that foreign institutional investors made sizeable buying. Prominent gainers that helped the markets to trade at an all-time high were Tata Steel, Asian Paint, Bharti Airtel, ITC Ltd, Lupin, Adani Ports, Wipro, Coal India, PowerGrid, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors and Hero MotoCorp.
