Kolkata, Dec 1 (UNI) The Special Task Force (STF) of Kolkata Police begins a probe to the alleged terror connection of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leader Selim Matabbar, who has been arrested with fake documents, including an Indian passport and Aadhaar card from a city hotel, sources said on Sunday.
The suspicion of probe authorities of terror connection heightened after they did not find the mobile phone in the possession of the Bangladesh national, who has been staying illegally for the last two years with a fake name - Rabi Sharma - and has two Aadhaar cards with addresses of Nadia and New Delhi.
The STF already informed the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission of the development after his arrest from a hotel on Friday night at Marquis Street.
