STF arrests dreaded criminal in Bihar

Bhagalpur, Nov 13 (UNI) Special Task Force (STF) arrested a dreaded criminal carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head at Dawoodbat village under Habibpur police station area in the district late last night.
Bhagalpur senior police superintendent Ashish Bharti said here today that STF alongwith local police arrested notorious criminal Akhilesh Mandal alias Akala Mandal from his relative`s house at Dawoodbat village on the basis of specific intelligence input.
He said the outlaw carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head was an active member of notorious Bhakta Mandal gang and was also involved in making a murderous attack on the rival gang leader Moti Yadav`s father Korelal Yadav. The nabbed criminal is a native of Sadhua Chapar village under Rangra police station area in Naugachhia sub divisional area in the district, he added.
