Steelcase eyes expansion in northern and central India

Bengaluru, Sep 6 (UNI) Steelcase, the global leader in workplace design and innovation, on Friday announced plans to expand its footprint in northern and central India with four new display stores, focusing on key markets where the company currently lacks representation.
This strategic move aligns with the company’s commitment to broadening its reach in South Asia, according to Tirthankar Basu, Managing Director (India and SAARC).
Currently, it operates 12 partner showrooms and three experience centres across India. The company also collaborates with 15 partners in India and four in the SAARC region.
As part of its broader growth strategy, the company during the day launched its latest dealer showroomhere in collaboration with The Jhaver Group.
The company has an advanced facility in Chakan, near Pune, where it continues to innovate and expand its product offerings to meet diverse market needs.
Globally, Steelcase boasts a presence in over 80 countries, supported by a robust network of manufacturing facilities, showrooms, and partnerships across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. UNI BDN SSP
