Statistics officer commits suicide in Bihar

Sasaram, Nov 13 (UNI) A statistics officer committed suicide under Nokha police station area in Rohtas district late last night.

Police said here today that the statistics officer Ranjeet Kumar (31), posted at Nokha block ended his life by hanging from the roof of his room at his residence near bus stand. Sources said family dispute apparently compelled the government officer to take extreme step.

Police said the statistics officer was a native of Jehanabad. The body had been sent to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
