The Congress leader alleged that old and even dead cases were being revived, only to harass the Congress leaders. He said Congress workers across the state were being threatened by the local police officials that they would be booked in fake cases or their old cases would be re-opened. He said all this was being done at the instance of caretaker CM KCR.

Sravan demanded that all the recent police transfers should be cancelled. He said those transfers were done according to the whims and fancies of ruling party MLAs to indulge in electoral manipulations.

He also condemned the brutal arrest of Prof Haragopal and others who were democratically protesting for the effective implementation of Right to Education Act.

He also informed that the Congress party would lodged a complaint regarding the unlawful acts of police to Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana and also the Chief Election Commissioner of India.
