Stalin terms BJP as minority govt, TN MPs will voice their strongest voice ever in Par

Chennai, June 15 (UNI) Buoyed by the victory of all 40seats in the Lok Sabh polls and termign the BJP-led NDA governemnt at the Centre as a minority government that assumed poer will the support of allies without securing a majority as in the past , Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President
M K Stalin on Saturday night said all the 40 MPs from the state will strongly voice for the welfare of the state in Parliament.
"Our TN 40 MPs will not allow to dilute the Constitution done by Dr Ambedkar as said by DMK Patriarch and late leader M Karunandhi", Mr Stalin said, speaking at the DMK's Mupperum Vizha
in the Textile City of Coimbatore, falling under the Kongu region, a traditional AIADMK belt, with
BJP having good base, and DMK sweeping the polls.
"Being a minority government formed by the BJP, we will express out strongest opposition and all
the 40 MPs are ready for it", he added.
He said the issues of the people and the interests of the State will strongly voice in Parliament, more than ever seen before.
"Even when, the BJP-led government commanded absolute majority, the MPs from the State, trumped it and spoke strongly in support of the State and raised issues", he said.
This time with the BJP being a minority government (having come to power with the support of its allies), the voice will be even more stronger, he thundered at the rally organised to celebrate the DMK Front's thumping win in Lok Sabha polls in the presence of alliance party leaders.
He also said that this Lok Sabha win should should reflect in 2026 Assembly polls and also in July 10 Vikravandi Assembly bypoll wherein the DMK will win by a larger margin.
"This Lok Sabha win should reflect in Assembly polls 2026, wherein we have to wn more than 200 seats and form the government again, he added.
