SSB seizes fake Indian currencies worth over 2 crore, 17 gold bars & arrests nine smugglers from north Bengal

Siliguri, Sep 22 (UNI) The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has seized Indian fake currencies
worth over Rs 2 crore, 17 pieces of gold biscuits and apprehended nine smugglers in north
Bengal in a hot chase before they move into neighbouring Assam state, police said today.

Shillong, Oct 22 (UNI) Meghalaya registered one more COVID-19 related death taking the number fatalities due to the disease to 78 and 99 fresh cases on Thursday, taking active cases to 1,661, while 307 more patients also recovered from the viral infection bringing the number of recovered cases in the State to 6,981.
