SRTC employees stage protest in support of their demands in Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 8 (UNI) Hundreds of employees of the State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) on Thursday staged a demonstration in Srinagar in support of their demands, which included release of salary, implementation of 7th pay commission and regularization of consolidated workers.
Holding placards in their hands, the SRTC employees were raising slogans in support of their demands.
Chairman of the SRTC employees union Wajahat Hussain Durani said a letter was sent to management of the SRTC and other concerned that if their demands are not met before October 7 they will hold protests in the Kashmir valley and Jammu region Thursday.
