Srinagar, Jan 4 (UNI) The summer capital, Srinagar, and other parts of Kashmir valley, including world famous ski resort of Gulmarg, received fresh snowfall on Friday, resulting in further dip in the maximum temperature.
The night temperature dipped and settled several degrees below normal across Kashmir valley, where widespread light to moderate rain and snow is predicted during the next 72 hours.
With the valley receiving fresh snowfall and people clearing their sidewalks and driveways, Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) on Friday said shoveling snow increases the risk of having a heart attack.
