Srilanka to invite India to develop West Container Terminal

Colombo, Oct 26 (UNI) The Srilankan government has decided to invite India in developing the West Container Terminal (WCT) in the Colombo port said Ports and shipping minister on Friday.
Ports and Shipping Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe said, "The government has decided to invite India to develop the West Container Terminal (WCT) in the Colombo Port as a joint venture with the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA)", reports Daily mirror.
He said the government-to-government proposal would be submitted to the Cabinet next Tuesday.
