Sri Ram Sene chief's entry banned in North Goa from tomorrow

Panaji, Jul 15 (UNI) North Goa District Magistrate Nila Mohanan today ordered a ban on the entry of Sri Ram Sene leader Pramod Mutalik in the district for two months from tomorrow.
A statement by Department of Information and Publicity said, ''The District Magistrate, North Goa, has banned the entry of Pramod Mutalik, leader of Sri Ram Sene, and any of his associates or members within the jurisdiction of the North Goa district for a period of 60 days with effect from July 16.''
The entry of Mr Mutalik to the coastal state's North Goa district was first banned in 2014 following his statement that he would be setting up a branch of his Karnataka-based organisation in the state and work towards banning nightlife and pubs in the state which is tourism oriented. Since then the administration has been extending the ban on his entry.
