Sr India men team end 2017 as 105th ranked in the world football

Kolkata, Dec 21 (UNI) Team India senior football men team retained its 105th FIFA ranking in the world as the global football body today released 2017 last list of rankings

with Germany at the top followed by Brazil and Portugal.



Sunil Chettri led India ended the year of 2017 at 105th rank with 320 points, same as it was last month , the FIFA release said.

India started the year at 129th rank and had emerged into top 100 by occupying

96th -- the second best ever after the 94th of February 1996 -- in July.Among Asian nations India are at 15th spot, just belowQatar.
