Captain Rohit and Shikhar Dhawan, who scored 127 in the last match, first added 86 runs in 13.1 overs for the first wicket. Rohit played aggressively and smacked 52 run with six fours and three sixes in just 39 balls. Later, Leg-spinner Shadab Khan sent Rohit to pavillion with a fantastic googly.
Unfortunately, Sikhar failed to score his half-century as he got dismissed by Fahim Ashraf, when he was just four runs away. Shikhar hit six fours and a six and scored 46 runs off 54 balls. India lost its second wicket on a score of 104. Ambati Rayudu and Dinesh Karthik, took the charge, soon after losing both openers and took India to the victory. Both Rayudu and Karthik scored an unbeaten 31 runs each.
