Spl team of DMG enter into burning Bagree Market building to find out sources of smokes

Kolkata, Sep 18 (UNI) Armed with masks, thermal cameras and oxygen bottles on back, the personnel of Disaster Management Group (DMG) of Kolkata Police on Tuesday entered into the six-storied building of Bagree Market at Canning Street to find out pockets from where smoke was still coming out indicating the fire, which first noticed midnight on Saturday/Sunday, was still razing.
Meanwhile, the state government is considering opinions from the experts, both private and public, whether the structure be demolished totally to avoid a further disaster or could be renovated after breaking partially.
The six-storied building, which had some 80 shops,including many whole sellers of different kinds of goods and medicines, appearing cracks both horizontally and vertically making unsafe for the DMG personnel. While the fire brigade personnel have been busy into the cooling process of outer sides and visible areas, the DMG personnel moved inside to find out the sources of smokes.
