Gurugram, May 16 (UNI) Private airline SpiceJet on Thursday introduced a daily non-stop flight on Mumbai-Jeddah-Mumbai sector and six new flights connecting the country’s financial capital.
The new flight to Jeddah is effective July 5 and the domestic flights are effective May 20.
Mumbai is the third destination after Hyderabad and Kozhikode which is being connected by SpiceJet with the pilgrim city of Jeddah.
Celebrating the launch, the airline has announced a special fare of Rs 12,399 for Mumbai-Jeddah and Rs 15,399 for Jeddah-Mumbai.
In order to cater to the increased demand created due to shortage of capacity, starting April 1, SpiceJet has announced 85 flights which includes 54 flights connecting Mumbai, 16 flights connecting Delhi and 8 flights between Mumbai and Delhi.
SpiceJet has also announced a slew of new international flights from Mumbai. The airline’s new Mumbai-Bangkok flight will be operational from May 17, 2019. In addition, it will soon connect Mumbai with Hong Kong, Colombo, Dhaka, Riyadh, and Kathmandu.
