Agartala, Feb 13 (UNI) The Spicejet authority has asserted CPI (M) MP of Tripura Jitendra Choudhury to re-think over the proposal for revival of it's operation in the state connecting Guwahati, Kolkata, Delhi and Chennai routes, which have been withdrawn in three phases in past six months.
Choudhury told media that he had a separate discussion with Spicejet Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Ajay Singh last evening at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan; headquarter of Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) in the sideline of a meeting of aviation operators with MoCA Suresh Prabhu and Jayant Sinha.
“There was detailed discussion for re-starting to and fro Spicejet service in Delhi-Kolkata-Agartala, Agartala-Kolkata-Chennai and Agartala-Guwahati routes and however, Singh admitted that the company was very comfortable with these rotes but due to certain reasons they have been compelled to withdraw the operation,” Choudhury said.
