Speeding tractor kills siblings in Lucknow; driver absconding

Lucknow, Oct 7 (UNI) A road accident in the Thakurganj area of Lucknow claimed the lives of a brother and sister this morning.
A speeding tractor rammed into their bike near Chhor Ghat in New Haiderganj, throwing them nearly 20 feet away due to the force of the collision. Both were rushed to the KGMU Trauma Center by police but were declared dead on arrival by doctors.
The victims were identified as Atul Kumar (21) and his elder sister Shweta (23), residents of New Haiderganj. According to police, Shweta had gone out for a morning walk and was returning home around 5 AM with her brother Atul on a motorcycle (registration number UP32PW2073), when the speeding tractor (UP32EF0439) hit them head-on.
