Special team to visit villages affected by water pollution caused by acid pollutants: CM

Tapovan (Dharmshala), Dec 14(UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Friday said in the Assembly that a special team would visit the villages under Indora assembly segment of Kangra district which were affected by acid pollutants leakage from Industrial area Damtal.
Replying to a query of Rita Devi of BJP during the question hour Mr Thakur said that there is no confirmation of
alleged discharge of acid pollutant as the water samples collected near the effluents treatment plant or its discharges were found fit for human consumption.
