Special Puja in remote village of Coastal Odisha for speedy recovery of Pranab Mukherjee

Kendrapara, Aug 13 (UNI) The family members of Tarunakanta Kanjilal of remote Ramanagar village under Mahakalapada block, organized a special puja today for speedy recovery of former President Pranab Mukherjee.
Mr Mukherjee (84) is now on ventilator support at the Army Research & Referral (R&R) Hospital after he underwent a surgery for removal of a clot in his brain. He was also tested positive for Covid-19 prior to the surgery.
Recollecting his Association with the former President, Tarunakanta Kanjilal alias Ratan (54), a Bengali said he came in contact with Mr Mukherjee when the latter visited Ramanagar after the 1999 Super Cyclone devastation. He was then the General Secretary of All India Congress Committee.
