Special efforts to be made to stop crime against women and children: SSP

Kapurthala, Nov 23 (UNI) Kapurthala SSP Kanwardeep Kaur on Monday said that the district police will make special efforts to stop the crime against women and child and pending cases in this regard would be disposed off in a stipulated time frame.
Talking to media persons here, the SSP said that there will be zero tolerance towards the drug peddlers and illicit liquor traders besides starting an awareness drive against the ill effects of these social evils.
Kanwardeep Kaur joined the elite force in 2013 as an IPS and served at Fazilka, Patiala and Joint Police Commissioner Ludhiana before posted as SSP in Kapurthala.
