Speaker allows five hours to discuss no-confidence motion

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 24 (UNI) Kerala Assembly Speaker P Sreeramakrishnan on Monday allowed five hours to discuss a no-confidence motion moved against the CPI(M)-led Left Government by the Opposition Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) in the State Assembly.
Congress member VD Satheesan moved the no-confidence motion against the Pinarayi Vijayan Government at the special one-day 20th session of 14th Kerala Legislative Assembly, which began here this morning.
The Speaker said the no-confidence motion will be taken for discussion after passing the Finance Bill and completing other pending business of the House.
