SPCB wants pollution free ‘Bishwakarma Puja’

Gangtok,Sep11(UNI) While all those working with machinery are preparing for Bishwakarma Puja that falls on September 17 every year, the state government is taking steps to keep pollution under control during the celebrations.
The State Pollution Control Board(SPCB) has ensured pollution less puja. Lord Bishwakarma will be propitiated in all possible clean and green Sikkim, it has said.
‘Considering the rich biodiversity and environmental sanctity of State’, the Board has asked all those involved in organizing Bishwakarma Puja to cooperate in maintaining cleanliness in Sikkim and keeping the state free from all types of pollution---noise, air and water.
