Spain look to seal top seeding against Romania with nothing to play for

Madrid, Nov 17 (Xinhua) Spain coach Roberto Moreno will make sweeping changes on Monday when his side entertain Romania in Atletico Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
Spain are already assured of qualifying for next summer's European Championship finals and a team made up of fringe players delighted fans in Cadiz with an easy 7-0 win over Malta on Friday night.
Romania are likely to pose more of a threat than a Malta side that spent virtually 90 minutes camped in their own penalty area, but a 2-0 defeat at home to Sweden on Friday leaves the Romanians without a chance of qualifying for the finals and what could have been a key match for the visitors is now just a matter of salvaging some pride.
Friday saw Moreno hand debuts to defender Pau Torres and striker Dani Olmo, who both scored on their debuts on Friday, with Torres netting with his first touch in international football.
Meanwhile Alvaro Morata continued with his run of form in front of goal and could get another chance to show he is the center forward Spain have been looking for since David Villa left international football.
Players such as Kepa Arrizabalaga, Dani Carvajal Inigo Martinez, Gaya, Sergio Busquets, Fabian Ruiz, Mikel Oyarzabal and Paco Alcacer could all return to a more familiar looking line up on Monday night.
Although the Spanish have sealed their place in the draw for the European Championship finals, Moreno's men do need a win in order to ensure they secure a place among the top-seeds, which would give them an easier draw next summer.
That should give the game a bit more of an edge, as should the fact that there is no international football after Monday until next March, so the casting for next summer's squad has begun in earnest.
