SP-BSP compelled to form alliance due to Modi wave: Rajnath

Mathura, Apr 15 (UNI) Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday claimed that the Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) were compelled to form an alliance, due to the Modi wave.

Addressing the election gathering here near Sarvoday Inter College, Mr Singh said that political parties with very different ideology were compelled to form an alliance, as they were aware that they will be wiped out in the Modi wave. He said that Congress also wanted to ride that bullock cart, but it did not succeed.

Mr Singh commented that even BJP had made alliance with the BSP, following which, the public had neglected the BJP for 15 years. Now, the SP should understand their fate, he added.
He said why they all are committed to remove Modi. What wrong Mr Modi has done, he asked. 'Mr Modi has raised reputation of our country in the world and public will give a befitting reply to the negative mentality of the Opposition parties,' he added.

Highlighting the achievements of Modi government, Mr Singh said 'The development of our country is in such a way that India has become the fastest growing economy of the world. In 2014, India was at the ninth rank, but in 2019, we are at 6th rank and with that pace, we will surpass Russia, China or US, to the third position in 2030.'

Hailing BJP candidate and yesteryear star Hema Malini, Mr Singh said that Hema has done much development in Mathura and her presence in Parliament was prominent. He urged that public should vote Hema again for further development of area.

Replying on Opposition's jibe ‘Chaukidar Chor hai,’ the Union Minister said “Hamara Chaukidar pure hai, dobara PM banna sure hai, problems ka cure hai and Modi once more hai” (Our guard is pure, He will become PM again for sure, he is the cure of all issues and public demands for Modi once more).

Slamming the Congress on anti-national law, Mr Singh said that Congress said that treason law will be squashed, if it comes to power. 'We will not only strengthen that law, but also prevent it's misuse,' adding that anti-national elements will not be entertained in any condition.

Speaking about the air strike in Balakot, Pakistan, Mr Singh said “I was saddened by the Pulwama attack and martyrdom of 40 brave soldiers. But, we retaliated in a better way and demolished the terrorist establishments in Pakistan.”
He claimed that the strong political will of Mr Modi and the support of Central government paved way for better retaliation.

The Opposition parties were complaining about EVMs even after the first phase of elections, which reflect that they have accepted their defeat, Mr Singh claimed, adding that NDA will again form the government, after bagging majority.
