Southern Greece: Three killed in gas cylinder explosion in restaurant

Moscow, Feb 3 (UNI) At least three people were killed and one injured in a gas cylinder explosion in a restaurant in the southern Greek city of Kalamata, located in the Peloponnese region.
The incident occurred at around 9:15 p.m. local time (19:15 GMT) on Saturday, Greek Reporter news website specified on Sunday.
According to Greek Reporter, the explosion claimed the lives of two employees and the owner of the restaurant, while other reports suggest that not the owner but his wife was killed in the incident.
Three fire service vehicles have promptly extinguished the fire.
Police have cordoned off the area.
