Southern Army Commander visits Goa Military Station, calls on CM, Governor

Panaji, Jan 23 (UNI) Lieutenant General D R Soni, Vishist Seva Medal, Aide-De-Camp, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, visited Goa Military Station to review the training and operational preparedness of Army units located in Goa on January 22 and 23.
According to a statement issued here on Tuesday, during the visit he called on Goa Governor Mridula Sinha and Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.
In the interactions various issues of national interest were discussed.
