South Goa Dist Hospital to start operation from Sep 19

Panaji, Sep 17 (UNI) Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Thursday said that South Goa District Hospital would start operation from September 19 with 150 beds initially which would be taken up to 350 beds later.
In series of tweets after holding meeting with expert committee held to discuss treatment measures for COVID-19, Mr Rane said,''We shall inspect the South Goa District Hospital tomorrow which will start operation from Saturday with 150 beds initially and will be taken up to 350 beds.''
He said Patients coming to ward-148 with symptom would be treated in COVID ward to ensure there was no delay in providing medical assistance to critical patients.
