Some Oppn parties behind braid chopping incidents to create unrest in Kashmir: BJP

Srinagar, Oct 13 (UNI) Alleging that some opposition political parties are behind of the braid chopping incidents in the Kashmir Valley, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday said it is being done to create unrest and destabilise the state government. “Braid chopping incidents were reported from across the country and also in Jammu region. The situation in Kashmir was improving for the better…Some opposition political parties and people with vested interest, who want to create unrest in the Valley, are behind braid chopping incidents in the valley,” state BJP General Secretary Dr Narindera Singh told reporters here. He said people of the Valley have to think who will be benefited by this unrest. “The government has also announced a reward for information on braid choppers, besides putting up several measures,” he said. Dr Singh said the police is investigating the cases and will bring the culprits to the book. “Some political parties are deliberately doing this to destabilise the government so that they can come to power,” he added.
