Solestra Group, Jeh Aerospace Sign Multi-Million-Dollar Manufacturing Pact to establish GMC at Jeh’s facility in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, June 17 (UNI) North America-based precision manufacturing company Solestra Group and aerospace manufacturer Jeh Aerospace on Wednesday announced a multi-year, multi-million-dollar agreement for a dedicated Global Manufacturing Center (GMC) at Jeh Aerospace's facility in Hyderabad.
The facility has been established exclusively for Solestra's programmes and is designed to function as an extension of the company's manufacturing operations, providing dedicated machines, workspace and workforce aligned with its quality standards and operational requirements, the Arospace company said in a release here.
Solestra Chief Executive Officer Joe DeMartino and Vice-President and General Manager Rocky Barnhart visited Hyderabad to mark the signing of the agreement and inauguration of the facility.
According to the companies, the Global Manufacturing Center model moves beyond traditional subcontracting by providing customers with dedicated manufacturing capacity, faster industrialisation, enhanced supply-chain resilience, intellectual property protection and digital transparency, while maintaining a single point of accountability.
The model has been developed based on the experience of Jeh Aerospace founders Vishal Sanghavi and Venkatesh Mudragalla, who have spent over two decades establishing and managing aerospace joint ventures in India.
Speaking on the occasion, Joe DeMartino said the partnership would help Solestra accelerate new product introduction, expand manufacturing capacity and support larger, more complex programmes while allowing its North American operations to focus on advanced manufacturing, assembly and customer engagement.
He said the company's decision to partner with Jeh Aerospace was influenced by the speed with which the dedicated manufacturing cell was established and equipped, demonstrating the partner's execution capabilities.
Vishal Sanghavi said the aerospace industry has traditionally focused on local efficiencies and transactional supply arrangements, which do not necessarily create resilient supply chains.
He said the new model combines the advantages of a joint venture in India while eliminating many of the governance and ownership complexities typically associated with such arrangements.
The Solestra Global Manufacturing Center will add high-precision mechanical systems manufacturing to Jeh Aerospace's existing capabilities in aero-engines and aerostructures.
