Social media star dies in Mumbai-Pune E-way crash

Mumbai, Aug 12 (UNI) A 22-year-old social media influencer from Lucknow died early Sunday when her speeding SUV crashed on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, officials said today.
Asfiya Bano and Mohammad Farid Khan, who were having over a million followers, succumbed to head injuries after the Toyota Cruiser overturned near Palaspe Highway Police Chowki around midnight.
Fifteen days ago Khan had arrived in Mumbai with friends. The group was en route to Lonavala when the driver Noor Alam Khan (34) reportedly lost control near Panvel, ramming into a concrete barrier.

Fadnavis calls for cancer care innovations to reach all corners of the world

Nagpur, Feb 14 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday emphasized that cancer poses one of the greatest challenges to India’s healthcare system and called for innovations in cancer treatment to reach every corner of the world, noting that “humanity knows no borders.”
Speaking at the inauguration of the international conference “Oncology Beyond Borders” at the National Cancer Institute, Nagpur, Fadnavis highlighted the urgent need for early detection and timely treatment of cancer.
