Speaking on ''Indianness and Nationalism'' at a college here he said ''nothing seems to bother us anymore. We are only bothered of our higher education, good job and prosperous life and thus we are living in a lethargic democracy." Responding to questions from the college students, Mr Gandhi, also the chairman of Australian Indian Rural Development Foundation, tried to expose the hollowness of the blind patriotism and nationalism. "Both nationalism and patriotism are to be practised and not to be displayed." On Indianness, he said it should not be seen as a responsibility or duty, instead, it should reflect in our daily life. Please log in to get detailed story.Tags: #Social issues not getting attention: Tushar Gandhi
