Snowfall disrupts air traffic at Srinagar airport

Srinagar, Jan 12 (UNI) Air traffic at Srinagar International airport was suspended since early Sunday morning due to fresh snowfall and poor visibility.

An official of airport told UNI that all incoming and outgoing flights from Srinagar airports have been suspended.

Since the visibility is very poor and its snowing, chances of resuming air traffic is very bleak from the only airport in the valley, he added.

There is also a forecast for fresh snowfall during the next 24 hours in the valley, including Srinagar.

Bhopal, Jan 20 (UNI) Countries and foreign industrialists participating at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos-Klosters will be briefed regarding reforms in policies and positive decisions taken by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath’s dispensation – during its maiden year in office – with the goal of creating an investment-friendly environment in the state.
Over 3,000 business and political leaders are expected at the four-day gathering commencing on Tuesday. A high-level delegation accompanying the Chief Minister shall meet officials of more than 30 companies.
