Smart phones to students will bring digital revolution- 532 smart phones to be distributed in second phase in Kapurthala

Kapurthala, Sep 19 (UNI) MLA from Kapurthala Rana Gurjit Singh today said that the smart phone distribution to the students from Government schools will bring a sea change in the Government education system by further bringing digital revolution in the state.
Addressing the students at Government schools in Kapurthala while distributing the smart phones to 12th class students, he said that the Punjab Government would provide 1 lakh 74 thousand smart phones across the state.
Terming it as a step towards the increase of employment opportunities in the field of information technology and service sector, the MLA said that the students would be able to attain good jobs in online service sector, IT etc.
