SL universities to sign MOU with foreign peers

Colombo, Aug 13 (UNI) India's Nalanda University will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sri Lanka's University of Kelaniya to develop academic cooperation, the island nation's government said here on Tuesday.
The MoU will also strengthen the historical, cultural, and intellectual relationship between the two varsities.
The MoU is part of the series of agreements to be signed by Sri Lanka’s state-owned universities with the world’s top varsities to raise the ranking of local universities and develop higher education cooperation, the government said.
