SL Minister declared a foreigner

Colombo, Dec 6 (UNI) A Sri Lankan MP, Diana Gamage, has been declared a British citizen.
The Immigration and Emigration Controller told the Secretary of the Ministry of Defence that Gamage has been found to be a citizen of the United Kingdom and therefore a Sri Lankan passport cannot be issued to her, the Daily Mirror reported on Tuesday.
The letter tabled in Parliament by opposition member Mujibur Rahman said that Gamage had been a citizen of the UK since 2004 and holds a UK passport.
