SKS targets to reach 100 branches by 2020 : Vaishnavi Krishnan

Hyderabad, Nov 21 (UNI) Sri Krishna Sweets (SKS) Director Vaishnavi Krishnan on Thursday said that it has targeted to reach 100 branches by 2020.
Speaking to newsmen here in connection with the launching of 75th milestone branch at Nachararam, Secunderabad on Friday where it is offering 4 kgs sugar free on purchasing every kg sweet as inaugural offer, Ms Vaishnavi along with CEO M Vaidyanathan said that SKS had been started its journey in 1979 by launching a standalone branch in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and later spread its wings across PAN India.
At present, SKS has 75 branches –in Tamil Nadu (48), Maharastra (4), Karala (6), Karnataka (7), UAE (5) and Telangana 4 (including the newly launch Nachararam branch), Ms Vaishnavi said and added that 25 new branches would be opened during the next two years across PAN India and UAE.
Speaking on future plans, Ms Vaishnavi said, “ For the year 2020 we would like to touch the milestone of 100 branches spread across India. We want to strengthen international presence especially in UAE and also strengthen the international supply channels. We want to introduce new variety of products by understanding the new generation”, she said.
Stating that SKS is the pioneer in introducing sweets made out of 100 per cent pure ghee and a stand-alone sweet stall with clean and well done interiors. Ms Vaishnavi said that SKS also exporting sweets to United states, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia through the supply channels.
Stating that SKS had introduced modern packaging system, the Director said it is offering 250 varieties of sweets.
Speaking on SKS awards, Ms Vaishnavi said it has engraved its name in the Limca Book Of World Records by supplying 17,500 kgs of Mysurpak within 72 hours to a Public Sector Organisation in Tamil Nadu. The drive to supply large quantities across cities ensured the supply of 7,300 kgs of laddus to another Corporate House in Bangalore, within 72 hours.
SKS has set a record in Asian Records Academy, India Records Academy, Unique World Records and Tamilian Book of Records for 13188.296 kilograms of Mysurpak to 26,720 customers across 46 branches in 3 hours on September 20, 2018, she added.
