New Delhi, Mar 20 (UNI) Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) on Monday held a Kisan Mahapanchayat at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi, demanding to fulfill all pending demands and implement MSP Guarantee Act immediately.
SKM submitted a memorandum to the Central government to fulfill all pending demands and implement the MSP Guarantee Act immediately, SKM said in a statement.
Over 50 speakers at the mahapanchayat called for continuing the protest against the corporate control on agriculture and the anti-farmer policies of the Central government. It was announced that SKM would soon organize state conferences and yatras to mobilize farmers, it said.
